  • Step One:Your lawyer will contact us to request all documents related to the property.
  • Step Tow:All necessary checks are performed to prove the authenticity of the documents and the integrity of the transaction.
  • Step Three:The draft contract is prepared and sent to the buyer for approval.
  • Step Four:After the buyer's approval, the contract is ready to be signed. If the buyer is not present in Cyprus and at his request, the lawyer will sign the contract on his behalf.
  • Step Five:The lawyer will send the bills of all fees of legal expenses and taxes on that stage to the buyer. The cost of the tax stamp should also be paid to the Tax Department at a value of 0.05 % of the price mentioned in the contract.
  • Step Six:After receiving the mentioned amounts, the lawyer will attach a stamp to the contract in the tax office and also the official registration of the contract in the property and land registration office. (At this stage, the lawyer will re-examine all the legal documents and cases related to the ownership of the property).
  • Step Seven:The attorney, along with the certificate of no criminal record provided by you, will apply to the Cabinet for a purchase permit in your name, and this purchase permit will allow you to transfer the title deed to your name. It takes 6 to 12 months to get this license.

Register the property in the name of the buyer

After issuing a purchased license in the name of the buyer, the lawyer begins the process of transferring the document in the name of the buyer with the seller's notice.

Important Points

  • VAT is not payable on resold properties. Because this amount was paid by the previous buyer in his name at the time of transferring the document.
